Small Group Bible Studies

Sunday School (Sunday @ 9:00am at FBC)
One of FBC’s goals is to have 75% of Sunday morning worship attendance involved in some form of small-group Bible study / fellowship. By small-group, we mean any gathering of up to 20 people which meets on a regular basis. At the adult level, we offer a number of classes at 9:00-10:00 am on Sunday morning (Sunday School). At the outset of 2010, Adult Sunday School classes consist of the following:
  • Young Married Couples
  • Womens Class #1 (younger to middle-age)
  • Womens Class #2 (middle-age to post-retirement age)
  • Senior Adults (men and women)
  • Middle-age adults (men and women)
  • All-ages class (men and women)
  • 25-40 Yr old (men and women)
In-home Small Group Bible Study
There are also several small-groups that meet in member’s homes on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.  Please contact the church office for details regarding when and where these meetings occur.   Snacks or a meal are usually an important part of these gatherings!

Men’s Bible Study
There is a Saturday morning men’s group that meets at 6:00am at a Steak-N-Shake in Mooresville for breakfast and Bible study. Following breakfast, men engage in a study of an entire book of the Bible over a course of 4-12 weeks, usually alternating between Old and New Testaments. (Sons are welcome, too!)
